Her research explores mind-body interventions and sport participation on the psychophysiological stress response in youth. She is currently looking at extracurricular activities and internalizing symptoms in youth, specifically sport participation and anxiety. She is completing a clinical training practicum at the Boston University Child Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders (CARD) and working with the Boston University sport medicine department as a sport and performance consultant for their student-athletes and teams.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>As a master&#8217;s student, Maddie worked with college athletes at Suffolk University and children with complex trauma at the SPARK Center at Boston Medical Center.
