Working with BU Wheelock faculty, students have the opportunity to gain valuable experience as researchers both within BU Wheelock and in the wider Boston University community.<\/p>\n<h3>Master&#8217;s &amp; Undergraduate Research Opportunities<\/h3>\n<p>Opportunities to work closely with faculty researchers and engage in ongoing research projects are available to both graduate and undergraduate students at BU Wheelock College of Education &amp; Human Development. Explore the list of current <a href=\"https:\/\/id-kayla.cms-devl.bu.edu\/wheelock\/resources\/students\/research\/research-opportunities\/\">student research opportunities<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Graduate Student Awards<\/h3>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/id-kayla.cms-devl.bu.edu\/wheelock\/resources\/students\/research\/graduate-research-scholarship-award\/\">Graduate Research &amp; Scholarship Award (GRASA)<\/a> supports individual or collaborative graduate student research that is likely to be publishable.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/id-kayla.cms-devl.bu.edu\/wheelock\/resources\/students\/research\/graduate-student-travel-award\/\">Graduate Student Travel Award<\/a> provides travel funds to support attendance at educational research conferences.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/id-kayla.cms-devl.bu.edu\/wheelock\/resources\/students\/research\/graduate-student-reimbursement-form\/\">Graduate Student Reimbursement Form<\/a> allows graduate students to seek reimbursement for travel expenses related to attending educational research conferences.<\/p>\n<h3>Institutional Review Board (IRB)<\/h3>\n<p>Information and training needed to be able to participate in human subjects research is available through the Boston University Office of Research <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/research\/ethics-compliance\/\">Ethics &amp; Compliance<\/a>. The mandatory human subjects training must be completed by all individuals, including students, who will be involved in the design and conduct of your research, regardless of whether they receive compensation from the award.<\/p>\n<p>BU Wheelock students should follow the student IRB submission protocol.
