However you choose to become involved in CASS programs, we look forward to getting to know you.<\/p>\n<h3>Be a Volunteer<\/h3>\n<p>Current volunteer and partnership opportunities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Become a Trotter Pen Pal<\/li>\n<li>Work for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/seo\/students\/build\/about\/\">BUILD<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ub\/employment\/\">Upward Bound<\/a>, or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ubms\/employment\/\">Upward Bound Math Science<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Promote external volunteer opportunities to Community Scholars. To learn more, email <a href=\"mailto:crffitz@bu.edu\">Clare Fitzgerald<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Become a Mentor<\/h3>\n<p>Mentors have an impact and contribute to the fact that CASS programs retain and graduate scholars at rates higher than the University average. All of the CASS undergraduate programs entail a faculty or staff mentor. These mentors volunteer time during their workday to share themselves and their experiences with undergraduates.<\/p>\n<p>Mentors are recruited on a rolling basis during the spring semester. They must be available for a half-day training during the summer prior to the academic year they intend to begin mentoring. Please complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/id-kayla.cms-devl.bu.edu\/wheelock\/about\/offices-services\/college-access-student-success\/get-involved\/cass-mentoring-application\/\">CASS Mentoring Application<\/a> or reach out to <a href=\"mailto:crffitz@bu.edu\">Clare Fitzgerald<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Give Your Financial Support<\/h3>\n<p>The university supports all of CASS\u2019s vital programs, with the aid of grants and generous donors.
