Deaf Studies Club<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This\u00a0club is designed to support students who have an interest in ASL or the Deaf community, whether or not they are majoring in Deaf Studies. It\u00a0organizes events such as signing dinners and the\u00a0annual ASL Ball, so that students have the opportunity to practice signing in a more casual, social setting.<\/p>\n

Dean\u2019s Hosts<\/h3>\n

The BU Wheelock <\/span>Dean\u2019s Hosts are a group of enthusiastic and knowledgeable undergraduate students who act as ambassadors for the college. They dedicate their time and serve the BU Wheelock community by hosting prospective students and families and volunteering at events with current students, parents, and alumni. Transitional Mentor (TM) Program<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The TM Program helps ease students’\u00a0transition into life in the city of Boston within BU and Wheelock College of Education & Human Development<\/span>. The program organizes social events in the fall and assigns each incoming student to an upperclassman who will help prepare them for and acclimate to life at BU. This person can be of great assistance in answering questions, giving advice, and being a friendly face around campus. Learn more about the Transitional Mentor Program<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Undergraduate Student Government<\/h3>\n

Undergraduate students are represented within BU Wheelock College of Education & Human Development<\/span> and Boston University by an active student council. In addition to planning and providing educational, social, and athletic functions, the student government is the voice of undergraduate students at BU Wheelock<\/span>. Undergraduates, through the student government, are also active participants in the Boston University Student Senate.<\/p>\n
