Our rigorous program covers the essentials for becoming a strong researcher in the field, including research design, qualitative and quantitative methods, mixed-methods research, and more. At BU Wheelock, aspiring educational researchers will find all the benefits of a close-knit community alongside all the resources of a world-renowned research institution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Boston University offers a PhD in Educational Studies with four specializations: Educational policy studies, language &amp; literacy education, math &amp; science education, and special education. Each of these specializations allows students to develop an individualized course of study that reflects their interests, strengths, and values.
