Students in the MAT in Mathematics Education complete a two-semester practicum experience culminating in student teaching. This ensures strength in the field of study and comprehensive teaching skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students who are admitted into BU Wheelock routinely participate in field experiences as a part of their respective program curriculum and requirements. Most field sites require criminal background checks to determine students\u2019 eligibility for participation.
