Elementary Education master’s students complete a pre-practicum and an on-site methods course. This experience will prepare you for a full-time student teaching practicum during your final semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EdM in Elementary Education offers flexibility for professionals interested in obtaining a teaching license. Students also have the option to add a license in Special Education or Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students who are admitted into BU Wheelock routinely participate in field experiences as a part of their respective program curriculum and requirements. Most field sites require criminal background checks to determine students\u2019 eligibility for participation.
