You&#8217;ll gain exposure to the fundamental and practical leadership skills you need to exercise leadership in a school or district setting while expanding your depth of understanding around critically important issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The master&#8217;s degree in Educational Leadership &amp; Policy Studies: PreK\u201312 offers both licensure and non-licensure options. Students seeking leadership positions in public PreK-12 districts (such as principal, assistant principal, or superintendent) can choose the licensure program, which can be tailored to their needs. Students who are interested more generally in leadership or who seek to work in independent, international, or charter school settings will benefit from pursuing the non-licensure program. This flexible program allows you to choose either full-time (one year) or part-time (two years).
