Zara Nizami-Azadzoi

Zara Nizami-Azadzoi administers all aspects of educator licensure within the University for students and graduates of Wheelock, CFA, CAS, and SAR. She advises students and graduates on practicum and licensure requirements and assists with student intake meetings for practicum placement. Mrs. Nizami-Azadzoi also updates and maintains licensure, fieldwork, and assessment records-keeping systems, including SONIA, ELAR, and the CAP Online Platform. She also administers and analyzes reports as needed for continuous program improvement, while meeting state/federal and accreditation requirements.

Mrs. Nizami-Azadzoi is originally from Hyderabad, India, and grew up in Lowell, MA. She received her BS in business administration and MS in higher education administration from Bay Path University. Previously, she worked in the Office of Student Programs at Mount Holyoke College and was a residence hall director at Boston University. Her passion has always included building strong systems for student support and opportunities for student leadership development. Mrs. Nizami-Azadzoi looks forward to her work supporting students and alumni at BU Wheelock.
