Maryellen Madaio

Maryellen Madaio is associate director of events and alumni engagement at BU Wheelock. In this role, she executes and contributes to the strategic development of events and programs designed to engage alumni, donors, students, prospective students, and external constituents. Through her work, Ms. Madaio seeks to raise the visibility and increase the amount of interest and engagement in our college. Ms. Madaio has been with BU Wheelock since 2011.

Before coming to Boston University, Maryellen had a 15-career in marketing and event production. Former employers and clients included New Age Publishing, Zipcar, Arnold Brand Promotions, and Cambridge Friends School. Ms. Madaio’s first career was in development operations and data management at WGBH, Museum of Fine Arts Boston, and the Worcester Art Museum.
