Emily Walton

Emily Walton is the program manager for the Upward Bound Math Science program at BU Wheelock. In this role, Ms. Walton supports postsecondary preparation and access for first-generation-to-college high school students from Boston and Chelsea, with a particular focus on providing a foundation for success in science, technology, engineering, and math.

Previously, Ms. Walton managed staff and programming at Bottom Line, a nonprofit college access and persistence organization serving first-generation college students from low-income backgrounds. She also has six years of high school science teaching experience in Boston Public Schools.
