
Brittany Claiborne-Naranjo
Doctoral Student
Brittany Claiborne-Naranjo is a doctoral student in the Math & Science Education program at Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development. Her research interests include developing the skills and beliefs preservice mathematics teachers need to lead equitable classrooms and sustain transformative teaching practices in the US education system. Before she joined BU Wheelock, Brit was a high school mathematics teacher in Chicago-area public schools. Brit also has professional experience in ballet and modern dance and enjoys finding connections between math, justice, and art.
